Meet Benjamin

The gift of growing up together.

Miracle Siblings Deacon and Laken share a unique bond - they both know what it’s like to face tough medical issues.

When she was a baby, Laken had surgery at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital to remove a rare, benign tumor. Her gallbladder and part of her liver were also removed. Deacon was born with kidneys that functioned at just 10% and auditory neuropathy,  a rare type of hearing loss. He endured surgeries for renal failure and other conditions and receives ongoing treatment from multiple specialists.

Thanks to CMN Hershey, Laken and Deacon have the equipment, resources, and services they need when it matters most. Thank you for giving these siblings the Gift of Growing Up together!
