It's a week to celebrate the miracles that happen every day at Penn State Health Children's Hospital. Your gift will support CMN's patient assistance endowment to help families with the unexpected cost of medication, medical devices, travel expenses, food boxes and more. Our goal is to raise $100,000, which will help 200 families! These services are used after families have exhausted other forms of payment including insurance and help ensure children receive proper care to avoid unnecessary hospital stays.

Learn more about the endowment in this short animated video produced by our #DollarsatWork sponsor JPL:

Spend a day in the life of the Yoder family from Lancaster. This heartwarming mini-documentary shares how the Yoder family benefits from the endowment and other CMN-funded services. Meet each of the seven Yoder children and learn how you can help. Thank you to our #DollarsatWork sponsors JPL and Members 1st Federal Credit Union for sponsoring this video.

Meet more families who have been directly impacted by the patient assistance endowment:

The fund provided gas vouchers so Ayden's dad could travel 300 miles each way from Erie to visit him in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The fund also provides special car seats for kids like Gannon and Reaghan who have hip casts. Imagine having to pay for one of these car seats unexpectedly.

Lucia, a diabetes patient, received support for her initial medications through the patient assistance fund. She filmed her day to show you what it's like to live with Type 1 diabetes:

Thank you #HealthcareHeroes
