2020 INACTIVE Dancing at Dairy Queen Palmyra OLD

SHINE: Performing Arts Network is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering creativity, self-confidence, community, and wellness through dance and the performing arts. We strive to bring a collaborative approach, uniting studios and dancers to create a cohesive performing arts community.

For this event, we wanted to give back to our community by supporting the Children's Miracle Network and Penn State Children's Hospital by creating a fun community fundraiser that includes dancing to help bring in donations.

In this crazy pandemic, we have been so caught up in just getting by that many of us forget that local non-profit organizations are still doing good work for our community and need our donations more than ever! Therefore, we have partnered with Children's Miracle Network (CMN) for an event in which we will be learning some line dances, dancing while staying socially distant from each other, and to bring in donations for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN).

The Dairy Queen in Palmyra (5 N Londonderry Square, Palmyra, PA 17078) has graciously agreed to let us dance in their parking lot for this event so that we can do it outdoors, where it is most safe. Also, for any Blizzard purchased that day, DQ will donate $1 to CMN, so even if you can't make it for the event, drop by to get your Blizzard!

The event is free to attend and participate, but we would love it if you could spare a $10 suggested donation, that will 100% go to the Children's miracle network. We will also have T-shirts and masks available for purchase (limited quantities) for which 100% of proceeds also go to CMN.

Also, the SHINE dancers will be having a performance at this event!
