Since 2015, more than 2,137 gaming heroes have raised more than $246,500 for Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

Who are gamers? Anyone who plays games. Are you a D&D streamer on Twitch? Do you and your friends host a monthly card game? Does your family have a weekly game night? Are you the corn hole champion at your football tailgate? Are you an eSports athlete?

If you answered yes to any of these, than you’re a gamer. And you can turn your love for gaming into dollars raised for Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

How do I get started?

1. Sign up for Extra Life. Don’t forget to select Penn State Health Children’s Hospital as hospital you intend to support.
2. Fundraise & Recruit – Once you have your fundraising page set up share it with your family and friends and encourage them to support you.

Are there any events I can participate in? 

You can host an Extra Life gaming activity at any time. But the Extra Life community hosts three events annually: 

• Extra Life United (Spring)
• Table Top Appreciation Weekend (August)
• Extra Life Game Day Marathon (First weekend in November)
