Miracle Family Program

Miracle Children/Families are “grateful patient” families who have had a positive experience at Penn State Health Children's Hospital and have been helped in some way by CMN-funded programs or equipment. These Miracle Families serve as ambassadors for Children's Miracle Network by sharing their stories and participating in our events and fundraising campaigns.

Miracle Heroes

Children’s Miracle Network’s mission is to save kids’ lives and improve their quality of care. However, we know that some families still have to say goodbye to their children far too soon. Every child’s journey matters, no matter how brief that journey might be. That’s why we created a new branch of our Miracle Family program called the Miracle Hero Program to honor the journeys of children who have passed and whose families would still like to be involved in as ambassadors. This program can also help families establish their own fundraisers and build a personalized legacy for their child.

Miracle Champions

Each year a Miracle Champion is selected to represent Children's Miracle Network at Penn State Health Children's Hospital. This Champion is featured in most campaigns and events and participates in projects throughout the year.
