CMN Hershey is driven by the power of volunteers. Volunteers engage with us on many different levels – organizing workplace fundraisers, rallying friends and family to donate to an online fundraising campaign, serving as social media influencers, and assisting with national partner campaign outreach.
Annually, we receive more than $2M through in-store register campaigns held by CMN Hospitals’ national partners – Walmart & Sam’s Club, GIANT, Speedway, Rite Aid – in our 10 county market area. With more than 150 national partner locations, we are in need of volunteers who are interested in becoming ‘Miracle Maker Ambassadors’ by either visiting store locations in-person or making personal phone calls to store managers or in-store champions of CMN thanking them for supporting Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.
Hands-on volunteer opportunities also exist with several community organizations that fundraise on our behalf. Keep reading to learn more about volunteer opportunities with these groups.
